About me

Hi, I’m Cami.

I help experts who are brilliant at what they do, but invisible, build the minimum marketing they need to sell.

Camila, of Cami Marketera

How it all started

The marketing I wish someone had taught me

My parents started a business selling activewear online. Nobody at home knew anything about websites or social media, so it fell on me. With no time and no money.

That’s where I learned what no course had told me: you don’t need to do everything. You need to know what to do first, do it well, and measure whether it works.

That experience gave birth to Minimum Viable Marketing (MVM). I studied Social Communication and Journalism, and since then I’ve held more than 100 sessions applying it with experts across Latin America, Canada, Europe and the United States.

What I believe

It’s not about doing more. It’s about doing better with what you already have.

Experts have been made to believe they’re behind: that they need a personal brand, to post every day and to be on every platform. I call it the marketing theater: the content calendar, the guru, the shiny new tool. It makes you feel guilty for not being a marketer, when being a marketer isn’t your job.

  • Marketing and business are two sides of the same coin. If you don’t know what you sell and to whom, no post is going to save you.
  • The problem is almost never marketing. It’s almost always that your business lives in your head and nobody outside understands it.
  • Marketing isn’t a presentation: it’s a lab. One hypothesis, one test, one decision.
  • Your audience is borrowed. Bring it to your own territory.
  • Done is better than perfect. Perfectionism is often fear dressed up as professional judgment.
  • There’s no conversion without trust. And trust is built with clarity, not volume.

The method

What does Minimum Viable Marketing look like in practice?

It’s the opposite of the 37-step marketing framework. Before adding another channel, another service or another piece of content, I ask you: what hypothesis are you trying to test?

01

One clear message

What you do, for whom and why you, said in one sentence.

02

An offer that connects

What your client needs, tied to what you want to achieve.

03

One main channel

One platform, done well, where your client already is.

04

Measure and decide

Launch, measure, adjust. No months stuck in slide decks without real data.

My track record

What backs up what I say

100+

1:1 sessions with experts

3+

times most of my clients come back to work with me

4

podcasts as a guest

  • Guest on Awtana Amplify, Carrera Comercial, Beat of Marketing and De Tropezones a Triunfos, talking about the minimum a business needs to sell.
  • I write Everything About Marketing, my newsletter every other week: real Minimum Viable Marketing cases, zero theory.
  • Social Communicator and Journalist from Universidad Externado de Colombia, with a Meta certification in media buying.

The podcasts are in Spanish.

Testimonials

Don’t take my word for it

“She took us from ‘we have ideas and drive’ to a concrete system. Her feedback was brutally useful: no sugarcoating, with examples and what to test next.”
Ana Kostic · Head of Paid Media
“My proposals went from being just one more to closing on their own, without objections, because when you communicate value, everything else falls into place.”
Marjorie Quesada · Tax Advisor

Brilliant at what you do, but invisible?

Let’s talk for 15 minutes. I’ll tell you honestly what I see in your business and whether we can work together. If it’s not with me, I’ll tell you that too.
